Gail Kim Coming Out Of Retirement To Face Tessa Blanchard At IMPACT Wresting's 'Rebellion' PPV

Gail Kim returning to in-ring competition after one-year away.

Former IMPACT Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard and IMPACT Wrestling Hall Of Famer Gail Kim have been at odds dating back to when Gail cost Tessa the Knockouts Title at 'Homecoming' in January. Their feud has led up to Gail Kim coming out of retirement to face Tessa on April 28th at IMPACT Wrestling's 'Rebellion' pay-per-view.

The match was made official during Friday's IMPACT broadcast on the Pursuit Channel and Twitch TV. Blanchard and Gail had a confrontation in the ring and Blanchard made comments about Gail's era of women's wrestling being filled with Bra & Panties matches and that got Gail to the point where she decided that she was coming out of retirement to take on Blanchard at the next pay-per-view.

Gail Kim last wrestled in February of 2018 for the 'Southside Wrestling' promotion and prior to that, her last match for IMPACT Wrestling was at the 2017 'Bound For Glory' pay-per-view, per Cagematch.net.

Here's a look at the updated match card for 'Rebellion':

IMPACT World Championship - Special Guest Referee (Lance Storm)
Johnny Impact (c) vs. Brian Cage

IMPACT World Tag Team Championships - 'Full Metal Mayhem' Match (TLC)
Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) (c) vs. L.A.X. (Santana & Ortiz)
