Gang Warfare Match Set For AEW Double Or Nothing 2022

Another match has been announced for AEW Double or Nothing.

Over the past month, Chris Jericho and his Appreciation Society have been feuding with Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz. Last week, however, The Mad King’s trio received some assistance when the Blackpool Combat Club came to the ring and attacked Jericho’s men during their victory speech. That segment ended with William Regal punching Chris Jericho.

During the May 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jericho and Regal had a face-to-face confrontation which led to a Gang Warfare (no rules) match being agreed to for the May 29 event. Jericho insulted all the member of the Blackpool Combat Club, even saying Bryan Danielson is likely to develop a substance abuse problem hanging out with the group. Regal replied by saying he has been sticking Jericho's toothbrush up his butt since 1997 whenever Chris was in the ring and he was backstage.

After Jericho and Co walked away, Kingston tried to chase after them but was stopped by Bryan which led to a shoving match between the two.

As such, Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Angelo Parker, and Matt Menard will face Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz. The other Blackpool Combat Club member, Wheeler Yuta, was not included as he is currently in Japan competing in NJPW's Best of the Super Juniors.
