Daniel Bryan is getting another chance at the Money in the Bank briefcase.
Big Cass was supposed to face Samoa Joe this week for the last spot in the men's Money in the Bank ladder match. On Sunday, WWE reported Big Cass needed help leaving the ring at a recent live event.
Now Smackdown General Manager Paige says the match with Samoa Joe and Big Cass has been replaced by Daniel Bryan and Jeff Hardy. The winner will go on to face Samoa Joe next week.
Both Hardy and Bryan lost qualifying matches in the past few weeks. Hardy lost to the Miz and Bryan lost to Rusev. Samoa Joe has never been in a Money in the Bank match but both Hardy and Bryan have been participants in the past. Bryan won the briefcase in 2011.
