Gunther has no reservations about his win.
At WWE SummerSlam, Gunther defeated Damian Priest to win the World Heavyweight Championship. The victory was not without controversy, as Finn Balor interfered and cost Priest the match.
At the WWE SummerSlam Post-Show, Gunther was asked to comment on his title win. He responded by briefly noting that it felt "deserved." Gunther was then asked whether Balor's interference made the victory feel tainted.
“Nothing’s tainted, no reservations. Nothing to be ashamed of. From this day forth, Monday Night Raw and the legacy of the World Heavyweight Championship belong to me. If anybody out there thinks I don’t deserve this, they know where to find me," Gunther said.
