Alex Hammerstone arrives in WWE NXT and falls victim to Oba Femi.
TNA Wrestling star Hammerstone was revealed as the mystery opponent for WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi on the September 10th episode of WWE NXT. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select first reported news of Hammerstone's appearance.
Hammerstone was revealed as the man Tony D'Angelo paid off in an attempt to settle his issues with Oba Femi. Unfortunately for Tony D'Angelo, Hammerstone came up short and fell victim to Oba Femi's destructive offense.

After the match, Tony D'Angelo could be seen angrily walking away from the screen on which he was watching it.
Hammerstone is the latest name to participate in NXT as part of the working relationship between NXT and TNA. He is a former MLW World Champion who signed with TNA at the beginning of 2024.
