Both seasons "Heels" are now streaming on Netflix after the series was canceled by Starz.
The series, which follows Georgia promotions the Duffy Wrestling League stars Stephen Amell, Alexander Ludwig, Mary McCormack.
Speaking to Joe Otterson of Variety, "Heels" creator Michael Waldron discussed the possibility of "Heels" and WWE partnering now that "Heels is on Netflix.
Waldron said that the “Heels” team has had “great conversations” with WWE and that “they’re big fans of the show.”
He stated, “I think the really exciting thing is, if we’re able to move forward with the show, we could more properly integrate the WWE into the storyline, as the DWL becomes a competitor,”
WWE Raw superstar CM Punk has a reoccurring role as Ricky Rabies on "Heels." Stephen Amell has worked with WWE and Cody Rhodes in the past.
WWE Raw is set to premiere on Netflix in January 2025.
