Ian Riccaboni Says ROH HonorClub Might Be Relaunching Soon

Ian Riccaboni provides an update on ROH Honor Club.

In July, AEW and ROH issued a statement regarding plans for a revamped HonorClub. The statement said, "Ring of Honor is also currently revamping its HonorClub program with enhanced elements and functionality. During this ongoing transformation, there will be a pause on accepting new memberships. Current memberships (as of July 16, 2022), will be extended at no additional cost until the refreshed HonorClub platform is launched in early fall 2022."

There have been no further updates regarding HonorClub and fans using the service to watch ROH events live, which was a previous feature of the platform.

During a K&S WrestleFest signing, ROH announced Ian Riccaboni teased that an update is coming soon.

"A lot of folks ask me about Honor Club, that might be re-launching soon. There might be some news coming your way about that," he said.

ROH Final Battle will be available on pay-per-view and Bleacher Report.

Later during the signing, Riccaboni was asked if he saw ROH potentially getting a TV deal in 2023. He replied, "I think so. I don't have any inside information, but I'm very hopeful because, if you look at the folks coming in, it's very public that we have Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Maria, they're all signed. Brian Cage is with Ring of Honor. Samoa Joe has the TV belt, Jericho with the world title, FTR with the tag titles, Mercedes with the women's title. If you look at where the chips are being positioned, Bandido and RUSH getting signed. Shane Taylor with a big chance at Final Battle. There are all these folks who were with the last era of Ring of Honor that are suddenly in the AEW fold. I don't think there's any reason why there wouldn't be an appetite for Ring of Honor broadcast, especially as you see the army that's being built that has Ring of Honor ties."

ROH is set to hold its final pay-per-view of the year on Saturday with ROH Final Battle.
