The new NXT Champion is unbesigbar.
Ilja Dragunov defeated Carmelo Hayes in their second encounter at NXT No Mercy in order to capture the NXT Championship for the first time ever.
Carmelo Hayes did not go down without a fight as it took three H-Bombs, with each upping the intensity. The first was a standard strike that Dragunov has put many men away with. The next was hit from the middle rope. Carmelo was able to get out of all of this. However, after missing Nothing But Net, Dragunov nailed an ultra-destructive H-Bomb, as described by Vic Joseph, to get the victory.

After the match, Dragunov shook the champion's hand in a show of respect. Now, however, 'Melo needs to deal with the fact that he has missed and he was not able to defeat Dragunov without the asterisk of Trick Williams at ringside.
Carmelo has been the NXT Champion since beating Bron Breakker at NXT Stand and Deliver, but he is no longer HIM.
