IMPACT Wrestling has locked up Deonna Purrazzo.
During Wednesday's Press Pass, Josh Mathews confirmed that IMPACT Wrestling has signed Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo to a long-term deal. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Fightful confirmed it was a two year deal.
Purrazzo debuted with IMPACT in June and won the Knockouts Title at Slammiversary XVIII when she defeated Jordynne Grace. Fightful Select reported early this year that Purrazzo was on a pay-per-appearance deal with the company. Earlier this month, Fightful Select reported that IMPACT had offered Deonna a long-term contract. In an interview with Fightful, Deonna confirmed that she did want to remain with IMPACT long-term and made that clear to them.
Purrazzo was released by WWE in April as part of the company-wide cutbacks due to the pandemic before joining IMPACT.
She is set to defend the IMPACT Knockouts Title this Saturday at Bound For Glory against Kylie Rae. You can view the current lineup for Bound For Glory by clicking here.
Fightful will have live coverage of Bound For Glory beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday.
