Isiah Kassidy is happy about Private Party's return, and he's excited for the future.
Private Party reunited on the January 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, as Marq Quen returned from injury. He had been out of action since November 2022. During his absence, Isiah Kassidy teamed up with Matt Hardy, Ethan Page, and Jeff Hardy at different points. Private Party then competed in their first tag team match since 2022 on the January 17 episode of AEW Dynamite, in which they defeated Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin).
In a new video on his YouTube channel, Isiah Kassidy shared his thoughts on Private Party's first match together in over a year.
“This video is happening after our first match back, and when I tell you I’m happy, I’m happy. It was one of those moments that I ain’t feel in a long time. Don’t get it twisted, being out there with The Hardys, being able to learn from them, just sitting underneath their learning tree, it was a blessing, and I’m very grateful for that. But when I got to do my thing with my brother, Marq Quen, it felt good. It felt like this [is] what it’s supposed to be. Especially when we hit the Gun and Juice, it just felt like old times again, and I’m here for it. Hopefully y’all are too. On top of that, we got the W. First match back, 13 months, we picked the W. So I’m super happy for that, and I’m super happy for what’s about to happen in the future. But I did say we’re gonna become tag team champions this year, and I mean that, and I truly believe that. Until then, there is work to be done. It’s gonna get done," Kassidy said.
