IYO SKY will defend the gold at WWE Fastlane.
On the September 29 episode of WWE SmackDown, Charlotte Flair was set to face WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY's stablemate Bayley. Before the bell, Flair called her shot as she said she would challenge SKY for the title at WWE Fastlane after she beat Bayley. Flair went on to beat Bayley, but "The Role Model" accused her of trying to cut the line.
Bayley, SKY, and Dakota Kai surrounded the ring, but Asuka came down to make the save. She spoke in Japanese, and Bayley translated by saying that she wanted a Triple Threat Match at Fastlane. She agreed to the match, though SKY claimed that's not what SKY said.
