JBL makes his prediction.
Fans have been buzzing about the Men's Royal Rumble match ahead of the premium live event, as several top stars are set to compete in the bout. Among others, Roman Reigns, John Cena, and CM Punk have declared for the match.
Speaking on Something to Wrestle, WWE Hall of Famer JBL was asked to make his prediction for the Royal Rumble match.
“I don’t know how you couldn’t go with Cena. I mean, it’s such a great story. I don’t know how you wouldn’t go with him. You’ve got a 16-time world champion, one of the greatest of all time, and carried the company during a G-rated era, which had to be the hardest role of any champion ever. I don’t know. CM Punk would obviously be a great choice. Roman [Reigns], you got so many choices that are really, really good. I think for the first time, you’ve got probably four to six choices that people would look at and go, ‘Okay, that all works.’ You’ve got so much parity with these top guys, you’ve done a great job of building top guys. These shows have been incredible. I never dreamed business would be like this, would be this good, and be this good as far quality of the show and the way that people respond to it. This Netflix deal has changed the dynamic of everything," JBL said.
