Jeff Hardy talks about his major remaining three goals in the world of wrestling.
Jeff Hardy has done just about everything one can do in the world of wrestling, especially in WWE. Jeff is a former WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, Intercontinental Champion, European Champion, Hardcore Champion, Light Heavyweight Champion, and a multi-time Tag Team Champion with his brother, Matt Hardy.
Now that Jeff is in the twilight of his career, he is looking to check off a few goals from his bucket list. One of those goals is to capture the last remaining WWE Heavyweight Championship that he has yet to win, the WWE Universal Championship, and he wants to defeat Roman Reigns to do it.
"I guess there's three [goals] I think about more than anything. Number one would probably be to be the Universal Champion, ideally, defeating Roman Reigns, because that's one of my dream matches because his stuff is so powerful. Now, I've gotten to mix it up with Seth in the ring, and even Dean Ambrose back before he left and they were The Shield, that was a big deal. So now, Roman’s the one guy, we never came in contact with each other. So I just feel like I kind of belong in that story, and that I will belong in that story,” Jeff Hardy told Sportskeeda ahead of Survivor Series.
Additionally, he wants to step back into the mind of his alter ego, Willow. Something that he feels can be different from what Bray Wyatt did with The Fiend.
“Number two is probably this alter ego of mine called ‘Willow’ that's kind of out there that people are aware of doing something that's different than what Bray Wyatt and The Fiend did. But something very exciting because Willow’s near and dear to my heart and my mind because he was my main thing before we made it in WWE.”
Lastly, Jeff Hardy wants to reunite with his brother, Matt Hardy. Although Matt is currently in AEW, Jeff Hardy says he doesn't care where the reunion takes place.
“Then the third one is [to be] reunited with my brother. Whether it's here or over there, you know, and over there could be anywhere, because like you said, contracts expire, people get released, I mean, it happens all the time. So anything's possible man in or outside of wrestling."
Matt Hardy recently tweeted how happy he is for him and his brother to still be in the industry that they love.
I am so proud of my brother. He’s in an amazing place in his life, both professionally & personally - I hope you support him. I’m fortunate to vicariously relive our childhood together every single day, thru my 3 boys. I’m a blessed man & we’re both blessed to still be wrestling. pic.twitter.com/xWSbyD8T1D

Before any of these goals can be accomplished, Jeff Hardy has to make it through WWE Survivor Series, where he will represent team SmackDown in a five-on-five Traditional Elimination Match. Fightful will have live coverage of the event on Sunday, November 21 at 7 p.m. eastern time.
