Jeff Jarrett wants revenge.
"Hangman" Adam Page has targeted Jeff Jarrett multiple times in recent weeks. He has attacked him multiple times, and Jay Lethal stood up for the legend, leading to a match between Page and Lethal on the August 14th episode of AEW Dynamite. Page scored the win after he attacked Jarrett backstage and kick-started the match against Lethal.
In a digital exclusive, Sonjay Dutt sent a message to Page and said that he was not a real man.
"Hangman, after I reflected after this match here with Jay Lethal, I realized one thing. You’re not a real man. Nothing about you defines what a real man is. I’ve put all the pieces together. Since you’ve been here in AEW, you have never shown loyalty to the people that care about you. Whether it was Kenny Omega, Young Bucks, The Elite, you left them high and dry. The Dark Order, they took you in, they loved you, they supported you, and what’d you do? You left them high and dry. Let me tell you something, Hangman. Me? I’ve got loyalty to the people that matter to me in my life. I’ve got loyalty to [Jay Lethal] for over 20 years. I’ve got loyalty to [Jeff Jarrett and Karen Jarrett] for over 20 years. I heard everybody say everything about them. You know what? I stick by their side because they mean something to me. Hangman, you’re on an island by yourself. You’re a man alone. You’re gonna stay on that island for the rest of eternity, and nobody is gonna give a cowboy shit about anything that you have to say or do because you are not a real man. The definition of a real man is loyalty, and dude, you’ve got none," Dutt said.
Jeff Jarrett then stated that there had been a lot of change in AEW recently, and he reflected on his recent journey. He stated that his family was the one constant. Jarrett then said that whether it was at AEW Dynamite in Cardiff or AEW All In, Page was in their crosshairs.
"Adam Page, over the last thirty-sixty days, there’s been a tremendous amount of change in AEW. I entered into the Owen Hart Tournament and had no idea what to expect. A ton of emotion that went through me. Lots of changes going around, but there’s been one constant that’s always been there. That’s this family. Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal, my wife Karen, right by my side. Whether it’s going into the tournament, whether it’s facing Bryan Danielson, it didn't matter. Family was there. Next week, we’re just days away from the biggest week of the year on the AEW calendar. So I don’t care if it’s Cardiff next Wednesday, I don’t care if it’s Wembley Stadium. Adam Page, this family right here, you’re in our crosshairs," Jarrett said.
