Jerry Lynn Thought Cradle Piledriver Side Plates Were Photoshopped On AEW Tag Team Titles

The AEW Tag Team Titles pay homage to Jerry Lynn by using his famous cradle piledriver finisher as part of the sideplates on the belts.

While Lynn isn't known for being a tag team specialist, he is a well-respected veteran who currently serves as a coach for AEW.

Speaking to Robbie Fox on My Mom's Basement, Lynn revealed his reaction when he first found out about the sideplates.

"At first, I saw it on social media and thought someone was ribbing me and photoshopped it. I was talking to Nick or Matt and they said, 'Did you like the shoutout on the belts?' And I was like, 'It's real?' 'Yeah.' 'I thought someone photoshopped it.' 'No.' I'm so honored, it was very flattering and I was very shocked," he said.

The AEW Tag Team Titles were first held by the SCU duo of Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky. The belts are currently held by The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson).
