Since 2020, Paul Heyman has been the Wiseman to Roman Reigns, and by proxy Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso.
Heyman has been off of television since June after being put through a table by Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.
Though he hasn't been on TV, Jey Uso has confirmed that Heyman has been at TV.
"The Wiseman is really the Wiseman to my family. He’s been around my family more than 50 years. He is behind the scenes a lot. He does produce, even when he’s not on TV, he’s there. All the backstage stuff, ‘Say this. Maybe say it like this. Do this. Do that.’ He has a brain for this business. Being around him damn near five years almost every day, I’m glad he’s still around. I’m glad he’s close to my family, and I’m just glad to have him on our side. He’s a big player to vouch for you and push for you. Any problem we have, we go to him. He makes it happen for my family. We love him," Jey told Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat.
It is unknown when Heyman will return to WWE TV.
Jey is set to team with Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso, and Roman Reigns in WarGames against Solo, Jacob, Tama, Tonga, and Bronson Reed at WWE Survivor Series.
