Jey Uso tells The Judgment Day he is now in their city.
Thanks to some help from CM Punk, Jey Uso pinned Drew McIntyre to win a four-way match on the April 8 episode of WWE Raw. In doing so, he earned a shot at Damian Priest's World Heavyweight Championship.
In a Raw Exclusive, Jey Uso commented on his win as Jackie Redmond referred to him as the number one contender.
"Damn, that sounds good. Man, we wrapping up WrestleMania week with a big W. Man, I’m on fire. I’m happy. Look, I’m ecstatic. I’m proud. Hard work is paying off. You know what it is. YEET," Uso said.
When asked about CM Punk's help, Jey Uso joked that Punk lent him a hand because they went to a hockey game together. He stated that Punk gave him the assist, and he slammed it home.
"You know why? It’s because we bought ice cream together. We was watching hockey together, uce. We was watching hockey together, uce. He’s like, ‘Hold up, man.’ My boy Jey out there, Drew McIntyre stay trippin’, I’m gonna tie his shoes for him. What he do? CM Punk gave me the assist. Passed it off to me, grabbed it, slam dunk, boomed on Drew. Boom," Uso said.
As for Damian Priest, Uso noted that his eye has been on Priest and the Judgment Day. He stated that he knew he would have to bring his "A" game.
"Shoutout to that boy, Damian Priest. Judgment Day, my eye’s been on you, uce. I know I’m gonna have to bring my ‘A’ game to you. I know you about that game, uce. I ain’t gonna take you lightly. But guess what? Jey Uso is now in your city and now after your title, uce," Uso said.
