Ross was interrupted by a phone call, leading to the following exchange:

Conrad Thompson: There's Vince (McMahon) calling right now.

Ross: I can't come until the 14th.

Conrad: Is that the date your contract is up, Valentine's Day?

Ross: Yeah.

Conrad: How about that, that's going to be a pretty sweet renewal for Mr. Tony Khan, I would imagine.

Ross: I hope so. I would like to finish up in AEW. I have to be realistic about things. These birthdays, I'm the same age as (Nick) Saban and (Bill) Belichick. I just love working with [AEW].

Ross was part of Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, calling the main event between Sting & Darby Allin against Powerhouse Hobbs & Konosuke Takeshita.

Fightful will keep fans updated on Ross' status with AEW when more is known.
