WWE sets its announcer lineup.
WWE has confirmed to Sports Business Journal that Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett will be the announce team for WWE Raw beginning on September 2nd.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves will be the SmackDown announce team starting September 13th.
WWE SmackDown is set to move to USA Network on September 13. WWE Raw will remain on USA Network through the end of the year before moving to Netflix in January 2025.
Tessitore was hired by WWE in July. He comes with a sports background, having called football and boxing for ESPN.
Pat McAfee, who has been teaming with Cole on WWE Raw, finished his current run with WWE on August 19 to focus on ESPN College GameDay and college football. He will return to the booth in January.
