JBL could be here to turn Baron Corbin's fortunes around.
Baron Corbin, although he prefers to be called Happy, has been down due to the fact that he has been on quite the losing streak. On Friday, September 2, 2022, he lost an open challenge match to Shinsuke Nakamura. Following his defeat, Corbin was shown walking in the parking lot, looking rather forlorn. Suddenly, his luck changed when John Bradshaw Layfield’s signature Longhorn limousine pulled up and JBL welcome Corbin into his limo while asking him what happened to the former United States Champion.
While John Bradshaw Layfield is frequently used in a broadcasting capacity this is the first time he has been used as a television character in many years.
