Next week's Raw will feature the return of one of the most popular superstars in WWE and a steel cage bout.
On the Christmas Eve edition of Raw, Vince McMahon announced that John Cena will be making his return to Raw next week. Cena has not appeared on Raw since prior to WrestleMania 34 when he called out the Undertaker. Cena has not appeared live on WWE television since WWE Super Show-Down in October when he and Bobby Lashley teamed up to defeat Elias and Kevin Owens.
Cena has been filming Project X in China throughout the year, which has kept him out of the ring. He is scheduled to return to the ring on Dec. 26 at the Madison Square Garden live event. Cena will also be on next week's episode of SmackDown Live.

Also announced for the New Year's Eve edition of Raw is a steel cage match pitting Dolph Ziggler against Drew McIntyre. The former friends clashed in a triple threat bout, which also featured Finn Balor, on Monday's edition of Raw. Balor walked away with the victory, but Ziggler got a measure of revenge on McIntyre following the bout, laying him out with a Zig Zag.
