Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano left no stone left unturned in their final encounter on NXT.
Battling for nearly an hour, the two squared off at an undisclosed location where Triple H sat in the middle of a ring. As soon as Triple H left the building, the two former NXT Champions quickly went to blows, attacking each other with anything and everything that was at their disposal. Ultimately, Gargano was the one who came out on top with some help.
After hitting each other with water bottles, crates and trash can lids, Ciampa and Gargano took their match outside, where they kept wrestling on top of a production truck. However, they still took their battle back indoors where Gargano put Ciampa through a table and the match continued until there was only one man left standing.

However, despite all the brutality the two inflicted on each other, they never stopped fighting until Candice LeRae, Gargano's wife, arrived and pleaded with both men to stop fighting. Initially, LeRae kicked Gargano below the belt, but it ended up being a trick as Gargano wore a protective cup, opening a window of opportunity for LeRae to kick an unsuspecting Ciampa down low, resulting in Gargano picking up the victory.
