Gargano shares his dream matches.
The discussion of "dream matches" in WWE always becomes the topic of a conversation amongst wrestling fans because of the crop of talent that is currently contracted to the company. There are matches that fans of the product would like to see between RAW and SmackDown superstars and there are matches that people want to see between main roster talent and the superstars of NXT. Names like former 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena is on record for stating that if the opportunity presented itself, he would love to work an NXT TakeOver event against one the rising stars in WWE.
One of those rising stars of the black-and-yellow brand is former NXT Tag Team Champion Johnny Gargano who was recently interviewed by Cultaholic's Adam Pacitti at the WWE Performance Center and during their discussion Gargano was asked about the possible dream match scenarios when he gets called up to the main roster and Gargano stated the following:
“Obviously, I guess, if we’re ever… I mean he was just on RAW recently so, me and Shawn Michaels would be a good one… Mick Foley was there too, he’s great. I don’t know if I could maybe have a Hell In A Cell match with Mick Foley eventually, but, I say to if we’re just going strictly main roster - I know he’s brought it up before in interviews, but me and Daniel Bryan doing something together would be pretty wild. I just tweeted something recently about me in Captain American Infinity War gear and someone else in Thanos gear, so I think me and Seth Rollins doing something would be pretty cool and ultimately me and AJ Styles - I think he’s the WWE Champion and I think for my money, he’s the best performer of our generation right now so I think me and AJ would be pretty fun too.” Gargano said.
