Dominik Mysterio scores the win, but Damian Priest makes him pay.
As announced on the October 21st episode of WWE Raw, Dominik Mysterio would face a former world champion the following week, and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce said that he would consider giving Dominik a title shot if he won.
Mysterio's opponent was revealed to be former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest on the October 28th episode of WWE Raw, and they clashed in the main event. It was far from a fair fight, as Mysterio's Judgment Day stablemates interfered throughout the match. Priest initially fought them off, but they continued to distract him. Dominik took advantage of the situation and rolled Priest up for the upset win.

Infuriated, Priest viciously attacked Mysterio after the bell. He hit Mysterio with a chair multiple times. Carlito also felt Priest's wrath, and Priest hit him with a South of Heaven. Priest dropped Mysterio with a South of Heaven as well.
