Cross promotion in wrestling is very common in today's world, especially when it comes to the NWA. Headed by owner Billy Corgan, the National Wrestling Alliance often partners with promotions like IMPACT Wrestling, AAA, and Major League Wrestling. The promotion previously had a working relationship with All Elite Wrestling as well.
NWA World Women's Champion Kamille has been a big part of the cross promotion between NWA and other promotions. Recently, Kamille, Deonna Purrazzo, & Jordynne Grace won the Women's Lucha Libre World Cup 2023 in the AAA promotion.
In a new interview with WrestlingNews.co, Kamille was asked about a potential future matchup with the Ring Of Honor Women's World Champion, Athena.
“I would love that, absolutely. She’s an incredible competitor and I think being able to mix it up with her would be something that not only we would like to do, but something the fans would like to see as well.”
Ring Of Honor and the NWA have previously worked together on numerous occasions, but the two promotions have not worked together in any capacity since Tony Khan's purchase of Ring Of Honor back in 2022.
