Kazuchika Okada is the new AEW Continental Champion.
'The Rainmaker' shocked fans on the March 20 episode of AEW Dynamite, as he was able to knock off Eddie Kingston and win the championship in his first singles match since signing with the promotion earlier this month.
To win the match, Okada nailed Kingston with his signature Rainmaker lariat before making the cover just moments later.

With Okada's win, Kingston's reign with the belt comes to an end at the 81 day mark. After winning the title at AEW World's End, Kingston went on to defend the title against the likes of Bryan Danielson, Wheeler Yuta, Trent Beretta, and Gabe Kidd.
Okada last held a championship in January, as he was one third of the NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Champions with Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tomohiro Ishii in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
