Kazuchika Okada is set to headline AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in a dream match against Bryan Danielson.
Okada has been one of the top stars in New Japan Pro-Wrestling for over a decade, and with the AEW and NJPW crossover, dream matches are closer to reality than ever.
Speaking to Justin Barrasso on Sports Illustrated, Okada was asked about another potential dream match against CM Punk.
“I’m not sure—The Young Bucks are kind of friends of mine,” Okada says with a laugh. “But if fans want to see the match, I want to do it. In Chicago.”
The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) and CM Punk were involved in an altercation following AEW All Out 2022 after Punk called out the Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Hangman Page during his media scrum.
Punk seemingly took a shot at the Bucks during AEW Collision, saying he's a draw in the world of "counterfeit bucks." The Bucks laughed off the comment with a new bio.
