Fans haven't seen Keith Lee on AEW TV since December 2023. He was scheduled to face Swerve Strickland at AEW Worlds End 2023, but it was announced before the show that he was not cleared.
Lee said he had been working through an injury since September 2022.
On October 20, Lee posted the following update on social media:
I certainly don't see them all, but I have seen many. I must take the time to say thank you.
And I must take the time to tell you.... we are not done. Hang in there, just like I am. Whatever it is.... the time will come. Let's move forward.
Oh. And don't forget to go vote.

Fightful Select reported on October 6 that Lee was still not cleared from his undisclosed medical issue.
