Nobody makes a challenge for NXT No Mercy like 'Lani.
On the August 20 episode of WWE NXT, Kelani Jordan was shown backstage looking distressed. Later in the night, Jordan ran down to the ring during a match between Lola Vice and Wendy Choo. Vice struck Jordan inadvertently, and with the referee distracted, Choo was able to hit Lola with a seemingly loaded pillow to get the win over Vice.
Jordan then immediately made a challenge to defend her WWE NXT Women's North American Title at NXT No Mercy on September 1 against Choo and declared that she was going to get her title back. Kelani charged the ring, laid out Choo with the loaded pillow, retrieved the NXT Women's North American Title belt, and posed over Choo.
