Jordan was quickly risen up the ranks, becoming the first person to win the NXT Women's North American Championship and being praised for her athleticism.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Jordan was asked what she would like to improve on.

"It would be promos and to live in the moment and acknowledge the crowd, whether it's wresting or when I'm talking. That's the biggest thing I want to work on. Listening," she said.

Kelani noted that she's trained her whole life in gymnastics to ignore the crowd noise.

"You're always taught to tune them out because you don't want any distractions. For all these years, I've been tuning everyone out. Yes, you can hear them, but you're so laser-focused that you tune them out. You hear your teammates cheering, but you block everyone else out. It's retraining my brain to do the opposite." she said.

Kelani successfully defended her NXT Women's North American Title against Sol Ruca at NXT Heatwave.

Elsewhere during the interview, Kelani discussed how she's inspired by Rob Van Dam. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
