Inside jokes aplenty on the latest episode of Being The Elite.
This past week was a busy one for The Elite as AEW made their debut in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Kenny Omega would lose half of his championship belt collection on Friday night when he lost the IMPACT Championship to Christian Cage.
On the most recent episode of Being The Elite, Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson jokingly spoofed on their shenanigans backfiring on them as they openly questioned why Christian Cage would use a steel chair to win the championship, having shown only seconds before that they were prepared to help their friend with the steel chair.
The Young Bucks would then joke that Kenny Omega had to lose his AAA Mega Championship to Andrade at TripleMania because "Charlotte Flair said so." Don Callis, who was in the room with The Elite as they were sulking following the loss of the IMPACT Wrestling Championship, joked that Ric Flair said Andrade needs to get the belt or he (Flair) will quit again.
Kenny did go on to defeat Andrade at TripleMania. Andrade had Ric Flair in his corner for the special event in Mexico. Learn more here.
Later in the episode, Matt Jackson and Kenny Omega were in a mall in Pittsburgh where they came across a toy store that had their action figures. Next to their action figures, there was a Championship 2-pack of the fiend and Daniel Bryan.
Kenny Omega held up the 2-pack and was asked what he was holding, while he did acknowledge the fiend, he did not say who “the other guy" was and instead put an action figure of himself in front of the Daniel Bryan action figure.
In the very next sketch, Kenny and The Young Bucks are looking for someone to play basketball with and they joke that more than half of their roster is from WWE. This prompts Kenny to say that that means they probably failed at a real sport.

Of course, it has been reported that Daniel Bryan has signed with All Elite Wrestling. CM Punk, another man who has reportedly signed with AEW, recently responded to these reports by saying that when he hears Darby Allin refer to "The Best in the World," he thinks of Daniel Bryan. Learn more here.
