Kris Statlander: I Owe So Much To Orange Cassidy, He's Someone That So Many People Rely On

Kris Statlander says she owes a lot to Orange Cassidy.

Statlander and Cassidy previously had a run in AEW together as members of the Best Friends, but Statlander turned on Cassidy earlier in 2024. A lot has changed since then, as Statlander has shown a new side of herself in recent weeks, while Cassidy has been on a collision course with AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and his group.

Speaking with Good Karma Wrestling, Kris Statlander was asked to comment on what Orange Cassidy brought to wrestling, as it was noted that he was divisive in the wrestling world.

“I will forever, when you asked me before [about] people that inspire me, I owe so much to Orange Cassidy. I know it’s not great for me to say that after I kind of turned on him and I punched him in the face, but I have a lot of regrets for doing that. He’s someone that so many people rely on. People may hate him, but I will always adore him as a person, as a wrestler. My experience with wrestling would be nowhere near as great as it was if Orange Cassidy wasn’t part of it," Statlander said.
