Kris Statlander explains why she didn't make the save for Willow Nightingale.
Willow Nightingale faced Riho in the main event of AEW Dynamite: Big Business. She scored the win, but TBS Champion Julia Hart and Skye Blue attacked her after the match. Willow's friend and tag team partner Kris Statlander was nowhere to be found, but Mercedes Mone made the save and fought off Hart and Blue.
In a digital exclusive, Renee Paquette noted that there was an "emergency" with Statlander, and she went to the trainer's room to find out what happened. Stokely Hathaway claimed that someone attacked her. Willow Nightingale showed up and noted that she was looking for Statlander.
"I was watching your match, and those two gremlins attacked me from behind, and they made me break my promise to you, saying I would always be there for you, and I couldn’t be there tonight," Statlander said.
When Willow noted that they attacked her too, Statlander said, "We’re gonna get our revenge. I’m gonna get my revenge. Julia, Skye, this is the end."

Nightingale and Statlander have been feuding with Hart and Blue in recent weeks. Willow and Statlander beat the duo at AEW Revolution: Zero Hour.
