Kyle Fletcher comments on Aussie Open's status with the United Empire following his and Mark Davis' signing with AEW.
Aussie Open was announced as new AEW signees following Kyle Fletcher's match with Orange Cassidy on May 24's AEW Dynamite. Recently, Fletcher spoke with Dark Puroresu Fusion about their status with Will Ospreay's United Empire Faction following their signing.
Fletcher says they will happily remain part of the group and view their signing as the beginning of a worldwide expansion.

Before this, Fletcher and Davis were a considerable force in the NJPW tag team scene, holding both the IWGP World Tag Team Championship and the NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championship simultaneously until Mark Davis suffered an injury, forcing them to relinquish both sets of championship belts. Will Ospreay recently commented on his own aspirations for the future, saying that he has no desire to live in the United States and is confident he will work out a deal with New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He also acknowledged Aussie Open for being a hot act at the moment. Read more here.
