Lars Sullivan addresses his past.
The story of Lars Sullivan's past derogatory comments on an online bodybuilding forum isn't new. WWE has reportedly been aware of his past but it has had no ill effect on his standing in the company. Sullivan is currently in the middle of a big push as he is laying out veteran superstars on both Raw and SmackDown.
But his comments were back in the news earlier this week as Big E commented on the, on social media. When asked about Lars' past on Twitter, Big E said, "Many are aware. If true, he has to bear the albatross of being a bigot & working in a company that is now filled with minorities."
In a statement issued to WrestlingNews.co and later confirmed by Fightful, Sullivan addressed his past comments.
“There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago. They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended.”
