Lil Uzi Vert Samples Shinsuke Nakamura's 'The Rising Sun' Theme Song On New Song 'Nakamura'

WWE collides with the world of hip hop once again.

On Friday, June 30, Lil Uzi Vert released his long awaited new album, 'The Pink Tape'. The project, which is Uzi's third studio album, features a song titled 'Nakamura' near the end of the track list.

As it turns out, the instrumental for the song 'Nakamura' is Shinsuke Nakamura's 'The Rising Sun' theme song that the 'King Of Strong-Style' has used for nearly his entire run in WWE.

Uzi even drops a few wrestling inspired lines throughout the track.

From Genius:

I'm thе king of the ring, I could take off for ya (Woah)

Feel like Nakamura jumpin' off the top, dog (Woah)

Throughout his career in music, Uzi Vert has made many references to wrestling and WWE in a number of songs.

Lil Uzi Vert appeared at WWE WrestleMania 39 earlier this year and performed part of his hit song 'Just Wanna Rock'. Vert has also been in attendance at a number of AEW shows, and has even visited the Nightmare Factory in the past.

Fans can check out the new song, as well as Uzi's entire new album, on your streaming platform of choice.
