Liv Morgan says there won't be any excuses this time.
Dominik Mysterio helped Liv Morgan beat Rhea Ripley and retain the WWE Women's World Championship at WWE SummerSlam. At WWE Bad Blood, Morgan will defend the title against Ripley, and Mysterio will be locked inside a shark cage during the match.
In an interview with Jackie Redmond ahead of WWE Bad Blood, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan discussed the upcoming match. Mysterio was asked whether he was worried about the bout, given that he would be locked in a shark cage and unable to interfere.
"She doesn’t need my help, she’s beat her twice. I think Liv is the best Women’s World Champion we’ve ever had in WWE history. Like I said, she’s already beaten Rhea multiple times. Name another person who’s done that to Rhea in the past couple years. So as much as I always worry about [Morgan], there’s no need to worry about her," Mysterio said.
Morgan was then asked whether her potential win would mark the end of the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour. She noted that with Dominik Mysterio locked in the shark cage, there would not be any excuses when she beat Ripley this time.
“Rhea set this match up. This is her stipulation. She likes to claim that the only reason I’ve been able to beat her twice is because of Daddy Dom, and like you said, he’s going to be locked in a shark cage, so when I beat her again for this third and final time, there’s no more excuses that she can say. So when I beat Rhea Ripley at Bad Blood, it’s safe to say that the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour will finally be over," Morgan said.
During the interview, Liv Morgan commented on her connection with Dominik Mysterio. Check out her comments here.
