Big matches are set for the next AEW Dynamite, whenever that might be.
On Wednesday's AEW Dynamite, following The Best Friends losing to the Lucha Bros, Chuckie T challenged Pentagon Jr. & Fenix to a match in the streets or in a parking lot. The match was made official later in the night as it was confirmed that The Best Friends (Chuckie T & Trent) will battle The Lucha Bros in a parking lot brawl.
Also made official later in the night is a lumberjack match between Luchasaurus and Wardlow. Luchasaurus was victorious in tag team action on Dynamite, teaming with Jungle Boy to defeat The Butcher & The Blade. Butcher & Blade have been associated with MJF and Wardlow in the past as hired guns for MJF.
Finally, the Blood & Guts match between The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Santana & Ortiz, and Jake Hager) and The Elite (Matt Jackson, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega, and Cody) will take place. AEW is teasing that Nick Jackson won't be cleared for the match, putting The Elite at a numbers disadvantage.
It turns out, Nick Jackson won't be competing in Blood & Guts as Matt Hardy was revealed as the fifth member of The Elite.
AEW was very careful not to say the matches will take place "next week," instead saying that the matches will happen "on the next Dynamite."
AEW Dynamite aired live from a closed set at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, FL on Wednesday. It is unconfirmed if next week's episode will air in the same fashion.
