AEW Dynamite ended on a cliffhanger.
In the show-closing segment, "Hangman" Adam Page and Swerve Strickland signed the contract for their match at AEW WrestleDream. The camera then panned backstage, where a mysterious group attacked Jay White. They ganged up on him and threw him into a wall. One of the men was wearing a Devil mask, and he stared at the camera. He then grabbed it, so the feed cut out and the show came to an end.
What is the meaning of this?!

The mask looked a lot like MJF's devil mask, which he first wore at AEW All Out 2022, where the group that was later named The Firm helped him win the Casino Ladder Match. MJF has worn the mask on multiple occasions since then.
Jay White made an enemy of MJF earlier in the show on September 27. He interrupted the AEW World Champion and set his sights on the gold. White vowed to be a truly "elite" champion when he dethroned MJF. MJF got ready to fight, but White left the ring.
Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
