Mandy Rose and Otis are the hottest couple in WWE and the idea behind the relationship was Mandy's.
After months of flirting, some backstabbing, and Dolph Ziggler; Mandy Rose and Otis finally got together at WrestleMania 36 when Rose helped Otis defeat Ziggler. And the storyline came together based on the real-life interactions between the two.
"Otis always was around in NXT and posting pics of me and talking about how much he liked me. In a cute way, not a creepy way. This continued on and I thought it would be great if this became a storyline, especially once Otis entered Wrestlemania. I actually went to Vince McMahon myself and pitched the idea and he loved it," said Mandy in an interview with TV Series Hub.
Rose also noted that her boyfriend doesn't have an issue with the storyline, saying, "It’s all a storyline and entertainment. If he got jealous of this, or if any guy did, it wouldn’t work out, honestly."
In the storyline, Rose's former best friend Sonya Deville went behind her back to ruin her relationship with Otis. The two have been feuding on social media ever since.
Unfortunately, the storyline hasn't been all good news for everyone as writer Andrea Listenberger revealed she was part of the WWE cutbacks last Wednesday. Listenberger worked on the storyline alongside the performers.
