Mandy Rose wants to show that she's more than just a pretty face.
In July 2021, Mandy made the move from WWE's main roster to NXT. Over the past few months, she has formed an alliance with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne; calling themselves Toxic Attraction. Now in the title picture on NXT 2.0, the woman once dubbed as "God's Greatest Creation" is excited to show off a different side of her character.
Speaking with Hollywood Life, Mandy said that fans can expect to see more 'ruthless aggression' from her moving forward.
"I would say ruthless aggression! That is what comes to my mind in the first place. My whole career has been the ‘Golden Goddess,’ ‘God’s Greatest Creation.’ A lot of it has been based on my looks, and that is fine. But, at the end of the day, I want to be known for my abilities, my athleticism, how hard I have trained, and how hard I have worked to get to where I have got and not just about my looks. Yeah, it is great to look amazing and pretty, but that won’t always be there. [laughs] We all get old! (LAUGHTER)"
"It doesn’t mean I am going to come out with a garbage bag over my head," Mandy said. "I am still hot; I am still sexy, and it is still me, but I am a little edgier and ruthless side of me that I am excited to show."
On October 26 at NXT Halloween Havoc, Mandy Rose will challenge Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Women's Championship. The stipulation for the 'Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal' match has yet to be determined.
Fightful has live coverage of NXT every Tuesday night beginning at 8 p.m. EST with a post-show review immediately following its conclusion.
