That match aired on the January 2 episode of TNA iMPACT! Rhino would lose the match by disqualification, cracking Nemeth in the back with a steel chair after becoming frustrated by his antics.

Later in the night, Rhino confronted both Ryan Nemeth and the TNA Wrestling World Champion Nic Nemeth, saying that he believed he could beat both of them. Santino Marella appeared and said that he would find Rhino a partner, but without even saying his name, he appeared.

Joe Hendry agreed to team with Rhino against the Nemeth Brothers on January 9. That match was also taped on December 14, the night that Rhino said was his final night with the company.

While nothing is ever certain in pro wrestling, he suggested this would be his last time wrestling for TNA Wrestling. He does however say he will continue wrestling. His full statement can be read here.

Rhino was inducted into the TNA Wrestling Hall of Fame at TNA Bound For Glory in October.

He is a former TNA World Tag Team Champion and won the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title under the TNA banner. He's had multiple stints with the promotion since 2005 and his most recent run began in 2019.
