Matt Cardona made the ultimate sacrifice when he shed his WWE persona to enter the world of Game Changer Wrestling to go after Nick Gage.
Cardona not only stepped to Gage, he defeated Gage in a deathmatch to win the GCW World Title. Looking to class up GCW, Cardona rebranded the title as the GCW Universal Championship, which paid tribute to John Cena's famous spinner belt, and he paid homage to Vince McMahon's WWECW World Title run, dressing in all black for his title defense against Sam Stackhouse.
Though Cardona lost the GCW World Title to Jon Moxley at The Art of War Games, Cardona's impact on the company will never be forgotten.
This is his sacrifice.

WWE used to produce "My Sacrifice" videos to highlight the highs and lows of being a WWE Superstar.
Cardona is set to return to GCW at Get Lost A Lot on September 24 where he will be making a major announcement.
