Matt Cardona & Steph De Lander Enter GCW Homecoming In Ghostbusters Fashion, Lose To Maki Death Kill

Matt Cardona arrived at GCW Homecoming to "finish the story." However, he came up short like Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 39. Still, his entrance was really cool.

Matt Cardona & Steph De Lander, Deathmatch Royalty, showed up to GCW Homecoming in style. Taking inspiration from their recent "Deathmatch Busters" shirts, with Maki Itoh & Nick Gage displayed Ghostbusters logo-style, the devious duo rode to the ring and a car designed to look like the Ectomobile from Ghostbusters while wearing jumpsuits reminiscent of the Ghostbusters uniform. The entrance, of course, came complete with the Ghostbusters theme song.

Cardona displayed the entrance in a tweet, questioning who was going to sign him and De Lander.

Despite the super cool entrance, bustin' did not make Cardona feel good when he and De Lander was busted open by Maki Death Kill. Deathmatch Royalty received multiple cuts courtesy of a pizza cutter and would leave the match gushing blood with glass in the back of their jumpsuits after having suffered a loss.

Cardona previously stated that he would "finish the story" at this event. While he occasionally talks about going back to WWE, he recently said he wants to be able to feud with Edge when he eventually goes back. Read more here.

Cardona also wants De Lander in his corner for a future WrestleMania bout with John Cena. Read more here.
