Mercedes Mone will be in "The Collective", and a trailer has been released for the film.
As previously announced, Mercedes Varnado, known in the wrestling world as Mercedes Mone, joined the cast of "The Collective", a film that is about a group of assassins, called The Collective, who target a human trafficking ring that's backed by billionaires.
In addition to Varnado, Lucas Till, Ruby Rose, Tyrese Gibson, Paul Ben-Victory and Don Johnson are also part of the cast. Mercedes plays Nikita, who is described as "a blade wielding company pit-bull and chief of security."
The first trailer has been released, and Mercedes can be seen holding a sharp weapon in one highlight. "The Collective" is slated for an August 4, 2023, release in select theaters and on digital and on-demand.
According to a recent report, Mone was "circled" for a role in "El Muerto" before the project was removed from Sony's schedule.
