Mia Yim Discusses Her WWE Return And Name Change To Michin

On Monday's WWE Raw, Mia Yim officially had her name changed to Michin.

The term means "Crazy" in Korean and was first brought up following Yim's return to WWE on the November 7 episode of WWE Raw.

Speaking to Steve Fall of Ten Count, Yim addressed the change.

"Yes. It's a nickname within the OC, all the boys have their nicknames. They're like, 'You need a nickname too.' 'We'll do a nickname that I've had since I was a kid. Something that my mom has been calling me since I was a kid. We'll go with that," she said.

Yim returned and aligned herself with The OC (AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, & Karl Anderson) to solve the "Rhea Ripley problem."

Speaking about her return, Yim credited Triple H for bringing her back.

"I have a lot of respect for him and when I found out that he took over, he was bringing all my friends back and it was the right time, right place. Working under him in NXT, it was fun. It's so easy to talk to him. It was an easy decision for me to come back with him in charge, for sure," she said.

Yim said the only person who knew about her return was Shelton Benjamin.

Yim was released by WWE on November 4, 2021. She had a run with IMPACT Wrestling before returning to WWE. Yim is set to compete in the Women's WarGames bout at WWE Survivor Series. Fans can check out the current lineup for the show by clicking here.
