Michelle McCool Shares That She Has Tested Positive For COVID-19

Michelle McCool has tested positive for COVID-19.

The former WWE Women's and Diva's Champion shared on Instagram that she tested positive for the coronavirus disease earlier this week. She says that she initially mistook it for allergies and is still not sure how or where she caught it. Luckily, her symptoms are mild and no one else at her home is ill.

Here is her full post:

"Word round here seems to spread as quickly as this virus ....soooo, thank you to all who have checked on me!!! ----Not trying to hide it (just been too tired to post). What I thought were my allergies, turned out to be a + COVID test earlier this week! No clue how or where I caught it!

Blessed to have mild symptoms...super blessed I’m the only one in our home who has it.... & super, super blessed to have a daughter who made an 8’ long “COVID Communication telephone!” I’d give anything to hug & love on her right now! Y’all stay safe & healthy!

McCool stepped away from the ring in 2011 but did come back in 2018 for Evolution, taking part in the 20-Woman Battle Royal. In October, she appeared on The Bump and said that she would be up for a match against Charlotte Flair if WWE ever offered it to her.

Fightful would like to wish Michelle McCool well in her recovery from COVID-19.
