The first match is set for AEW All In, and it's a big one.
On the August 2, 2023 episode of AEW Dynamite, the AEW World Champion MJF cut a promo in the ring talking about how he has found his true self recently in AEW, mainly due to his dynamic tag team with Adam Cole.
MJF would then invite Adam Cole to the ring. Moments later, MJF said that Cole doesn't deserve a match for the AEW World Championship, something that MJF had promised Cole a few weeks back. Instead, MJF proclaimed that Cole deserves the match for the title at the biggest event in AEW history, All In.
MJF then presented Cole with a contract for a championship match at All In. Cole quickly signed the contract, despite seemingly not reading any of it.
"I've come to the conclusion. You don't deserve a match" - MJF

In the closing moments of the segment, the camera cut backstage to a frustrated Roderick Strong, who was throwing and breaking things. Strong was then approached by Matt Taven and Mike Bennett. Taven reminded Strong that Adam Cole is always quick to forget his friends before walking out of frame.
