MJF: It Was Super Impressive How Easily Shane McMahon Tore His Quad

MJF encourages Shane McMahon to stay away.

Shane McMahon recently met with AEW CEO Tony Khan to discuss possibilities moving forward. The meeting came after several weeks of fans buzzing about McMahon potentially coming to AEW. former AEW World Champion MJF recently said that McMahon getting in the ring with him would be bad for Shane's mental health.

In an interview with WrestleTalk, MJF was again asked about the buzz surrounding McMahon. He said that McMahon should stay away. MJF also noted that it was impressive how easily McMahon tore his quad at WWE WrestleMania 39, where he suffered the injury while facing The Miz.

"Please stay away. For his health. Stay away from me. I thought it was super impressive how easily he tore his quad. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Let’s hope that’s not in every single facet of his life," MJF said.

MJF was also asked for his reaction to the viral picture of Khan meeting with McMahon. He stated that his reaction was hoping that McMahon would stay away from him. However, MJF said that McMahon coming in could be huge for AEW.

"My reaction was, ‘Please stay away from me.’ If he wants to come in, I genuinely think he’s a megastar and that’d be friggin great and huge for the fans and huge for AEW," MJF said.
