Mustafa Ali: It's An Honor And A Privilege To Step Into A TNA Ring

Mustafa Ali talks working with TNA.

In Ali's first match in TNA, he would capture the X-Division Championship from Chris Sabin at TNA No Surrender last month, taking the championship with him around the world during his world tour. For many wrestlers, they grew up on watching TNA, with performers like Will Ospreay previously stating this.

While speaking on Five Questions With The Mini Host, Mustafa was asked about his TNA debut and working for the promotion, with Ali noting that it has been an amazing experience and its an honor for him to wrestle in a TNA ring.

"Amazing. I grew up as a TNA kid, if that makes sense. So guys like Will Ospreay, Ricochet, myself, this is... is what we grew up watching coming up in the industry. So I kind of had a surreal experience my first night in TNA. I made my entrance and I do my signature pose. And when I looked down and I saw TNA in the ring, I had these goosebumps. I'm like, oh man, this is happening. It hit me there. Not before or anything like that. So it's an honor and privilege to step into a TNA ring."

On this week's edition of TNA iMPACT!, Jake Something earned the right to face Ali for the X-Division Championship at TNA Rebellion. You can read more about that here.
